Anyone who knows me is aware of my affinity for list making, post-it notes, budgets, and really anything else involved with getting organized. Funny how things change - as a child, I was the total opposite! However, my number 1 favorite is a great planner. For years I've been on the lookout for one that could handle life stuff, detailed budgets, a food planner, and more to no avail. At this point I should probably just make one but for now, I found a really great life planner that I am just loving by Erin Condren.
I did a lot of research having wanted to go the Filofax route but the one I wanted was just under $200....too luxe for me! Condren's planners are usually $50 but I bought mine for $30 since we're in May - kinda nice that they discount it for you. Regardless, this is by far the most expensive planner I have ever owned. Worth it? Time will tell but so far, I am super happy with my purchase!
Check out the super cute box and packaging!
The covers are a thick, durable plastic material that is easy to wipe clean. The wire binding is incredibly sturdy as well - not like the flimsy junk in the store. One thing I really love are the custom covers. This planner is hand made so I chose the template that allowed me to put many personal photos on both front and back - I liked that for this application being that it is a life planner.
I also really like the bright colors Condren uses. It really does give a sense of cheerfulness to the product - Lord knows we need a little extra cheer these days :)
Oh and the quotes - what a nice touch! You'll see motivational quotes scattered throughout the planner - also on each monthly calendar view which I really like. I try to use them as my monthly mantras since they are so positive :)
I would take photos of the actual calendars but I was so excited, I already wrote all my personal stuff there so I can't reveal it. However, it is set up similar to other planners. There's so many ways you can use this planner - it's really a one size fits all in the way that can conform it to fit your needs. I think the difference, for me, between this and other planners is its positivity - it makes me want to use it.
Anyway, just wanted to share. I'm still on the hunt for a great budget planner and food planner and have come empty handed - though I'm picky with my planners! Maybe one of these days I'll sit down and create one of my own (and of course share it here!) For more information or to order an Erin Condren Life Planner, go to: http://www.erincondren.com/
Please note that I am not in any way affiliated with Erin Condren - just a passionate planner lover who found a good one :)
